Clinical Research Associate (Medical Doctor) – ECG & Clinical AI Research
Location: Bengaluru (Remote)
Position: Part-Time | Paid (Compensation to be discussed based on experience)
We are looking for a medical doctor with a strong understanding of electrocardiography (ECGs) to join our clinical research team working at the intersection of cardiology, artificial intelligence, and digital health.
Our work focuses on developing and validating ECG-based algorithms through ongoing clinical research. The project follows contemporary American Heart Association (AHA) and American College of Cardiology (ACC) guideline-based principles, with algorithm development and validation performed using U.S. patient cohorts to ensure clinical relevance and international applicability.
About the Role
You will contribute to an ongoing clinical trial while helping develop and validate ECG-based algorithms aimed at improving cardiovascular assessment and early detection of cardiac dysfunction.
This is a clinically driven role. You will provide the physician expertise needed to interpret ECGs, review algorithm outputs, identify clinically relevant findings, and work closely with engineers and researchers to refine and validate the technology.
Responsibilities
* Interpret and review ECGs for research and algorithm validation.
* Assist with clinical validation of ECG-based AI models.
* Participate in ongoing clinical trial activities, including data review and documentation.
* Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and clinicians to improve algorithm performance.
* Identify clinically meaningful ECG features, edge cases, and sources of diagnostic error.
* Contribute to scientific publications, abstracts, and conference presentations where applicable.
Eligibility
* MBBS graduate (including doctors during or after their compulsory rotatory internship).
* Doctors currently pursuing postgraduate training in General Medicine or Internal Medicine are encouraged to apply.
* Good functional understanding of ECG interpretation.
* Prior clinical research experience is desirable but not mandatory.
* Interest in cardiology, digital health, artificial intelligence, or medical technology.
* Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
What You’ll Gain
* Work on cutting-edge cardiovascular AI research.
* Be part of a clinical trial with real-world translational impact.
* Exposure to international validation methodologies and U.S. clinical datasets.
* Flexible part-time work alongside clinical or academic commitments.
* Opportunity for authorship on scientific publications based on contribution.
Compensation: Paid. Remuneration will be discussed with shortlisted candidates based on experience and expected commitment.
If you’re passionate about combining clinical medicine with technology and would like to contribute to the future of ECG-based diagnostics, we’d love to hear from you.
